Orlagh House offers a rare and genuinely special overnight experience — the chance to sleep in a beautifully appointed Georgian country house set on 50 acres in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, just 20 minutes from Dublin city centre and Dublin Airport.

The house provides 14 bedrooms sleeping up to 30 guests, making it ideal for wedding parties, corporate groups, family celebrations, and friends who want to extend their time at Orlagh into the following morning. Bedrooms are available exclusively alongside venue hire — the entire house is yours, ensuring a level of privacy and comfort that no hotel can replicate.

The Bedrooms

Accommodation at Orlagh House comprises a mix of room types to suit groups of varying sizes and configurations:

• 10 double rooms, 7 of which are en-suite and 2 with an additional single bed
• 3 single rooms with washbasin
• 1 bunkbed room sleeping up to 4 guests

All bed linen and towels are provided. The house has bathroom and shower facilities throughout both wings, ensuring all guests are comfortably catered for.

There is something genuinely restorative about waking up at Orlagh House. The morning light across the Dublin Mountains, the sounds of the surrounding woodland, and the unhurried atmosphere of the estate create a very different kind of morning to a city hotel. Breakfast can be arranged through the in-house catering team, giving your group a relaxed and convivial start to the day before departing.

Despite its feeling of complete seclusion, Orlagh House is exceptionally well located. The city centre is less than 20 minutes by car, Dublin Airport is similarly close, and local attractions including Glendalough, Leopardstown Racecourse, the Guinness Storehouse, and the Wicklow Mountains are all within easy reach. The estate itself offers woodland walks, a tree-lined avenue known as The Way, and extensive safe outdoor space — everything your group needs without leaving the grounds.

Group Facilities

Beyond the bedrooms, overnight guests have access to the full range of Orlagh’s leisure facilities, including a basement games room with table tennis, a full-sized snooker table, and a darts board. The estate’s grounds include woodland walks, barbecue areas, and open lawns with the kind of panoramic views of Dublin city that make Orlagh genuinely unlike anywhere else.

Orlagh House is available for exclusive overnight hire for weddings, private parties, corporate retreats, family gatherings, and special celebrations. Well-behaved pets are welcome, and a ground floor bedroom can be arranged for guests with mobility requirements on request.
