You will get all of the feeling of a gorgeous country estate at this lavish house. Exclusively yours for your wedding day, there is also the option of booking a second day, or take the house exclusively for an extended stay of your choosing for destination weddings, to involve rehearsal dinners, day two celebrations and enjoy the house and area and use as a base to explore further afield.

Orlagh has a preferred caterer who will help you choose the perfect menu. While the old Oratory in the house is perfect for a formal dining set up, with a capacity of 145, Couples keen on a more bohemian experience can request an outdoor BBQ with a festival vibe taking in the beautiful lawn and panoramic views, with option of retreating to the Oratory should the weather not be kind. Marquee hire is absolutely allowed but is a separate cost. We can recommend suppliers.

Orlagh is a private house not a hotel, so we are flexible with couples who want to add personal touches to the house to create their perfect setting. The house has 15 bedrooms to offer guests and can sleep up to 30 people. You can also have your ceremony on-site.

The in-house team are there to help you with everything you may need in the lead-up to the big day! We offer packages to suit all guest numbers as also have intimate options for smaller events and are able to facilitate the very biggest events on our grounds.

We married at Orlagh house August 2020…
We will never be able to thank everyone in Orlagh house for the amount of work put in to ensure we had the most special day of our lives. The Orlagh House team was amazing and helped us organise a wedding in a very difficult and restricted environment. You really feel the house is yours… no corporate hotel vibes.. friendly and happy staff.. the best view in Dublin. We can’t wait for an excuse to hire again…and we will.

We had our wedding here in December 2021, what an experience – from the moment we viewed the house six months before we knew it was for us. The staff made things so easy for us. We chose a winter wedding as we had postponed due to Covid 4 times. The house is amazing so pretty at Xmas and very much a classy place. It was a fabulous night – everything was amazing. The venue, the food, the bar etc.

We stayed in house also the night of wedding. Again amazing and breakfast was delicious – 10/10 for this venue – truly special- go and check it out – it’s so so fantastic.

From the amazing venue with all its beautiful quirky finishes, the sumptuous feast created for us and our guests to the spectacular view of Dublin by day or night. We were not disappointed. The whole house is so beautiful, each room is unique. The cloisters is a beautiful hall which worked fantastically for our ceremony. We are so happy we chose here for our special day.
